Lazio will be without key defender Andre Dias when they face Palermo this weekend after he picked up a knock in training.
The 31-year-old Brazilian pulled up during a mini-game and complained about the adductor muscle in his left thigh.
There is a fear that Dias will also miss the derby against Roma on March 13.
Lazio have conceded just 23 goals this season and have the second best defence in Serie A.
In the meantime, Dias will be replaced by Guglielmo Stendardo.
On a positive note, Fernando Muslera, the Uruguay international goalkeeper, says he is ready to make his comeback against Palermo after turning his ankle last month.
