Fiorentina have lost midfielder Gaetano D'Agostino for three weeks after he fractured his hand.
The former Udinese man suffered the injury during today's training session and originally thought it was only a bruise.
However, x-rays showed he fractured the third metacarpal bone in his hand and will require surgery tomorrow to stabilise it.
Fiorentina medical staff believe D'Agostino should be back in action after around three weeks.
