Adriano Galliani claims that even after 25 years at the helm Milan is still an "affair of the heart" for the club's owner Silvio Berlusconi.
Milan wore special shirts to commemorate the anniversary of Berlusconi's arrival at the club when they faced Chievo at the weekend.
Interviewed by Il Corriere della Sera, Galliani said: "The truth is that after 25 years nothing has changed. For Silvio Berlusconi, Milan continues to be an affair of the heart.
"He is a great innovator.
"Unfortunately like 25 years ago I still can't get to sleep after a defeat and I am in a bad mood for the rest of the week.
"On the other hand, when we win, I break out in celebration, which I find a little excessive. But I don't take any of it into account at the time.
"It's only when I watch the footage again on TV that I realise what I did in the stands. I make too much of a racket," he concluded.
