Milan have announced the signing of Nicola Legrottaglie from Juventus on their official website.

The 34-year-old completed a medical this morning and is likely to train with Milan this afternoon.

Much like Holland international midfielder Mark Van Bommel, he has put pen to paper on a short-term contract, which expires on June 30, 2011.

Legrottaglie becomes Milan's fifth signing of the January transfer window after Antonio Cassano, Urby Emanuelson, Didac Vila and Van Bommel.
