Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani has ruled out a move for Bayern Munich midfielder Mark Van Bommel.
The 33-year-old Holland international is out of contract in the summer and has consulted Italian agent Mino Raiola about finding an alternative destination.
Interviewed on Sky Italia, Galliani said: "He is an important player, but his age is such that we aren't thinking about it, no.
"The market is open until January 31. I believe that last August, three days before the end of the window, no one thought that Ibrahimovic and Robinho would arrive, so we'll see what happens."
