Roma captain Francesco Totti has paid tribute to Enzo Bearzot, calling the 1982 World Cup winning Coach a legend of Italian football.
Bearzot sadly died in Milan yesterday at the age of 83, leaving Italy in a state of mourning.
"Bearzot was a legend of our country," Totti wrote on his official website.
"It's enough to see how many of his former colleagues are speaking about him with absolute and authentic respect.
"It's with this same respect that I too would like to pay my condolences to his family.
"There are people who remain even after they are gone. They remain in their teachings and in the most vivid memories.
"I feel that the Great Enzo will also be like this," Totti concluded.
