Atalanta have confirmed that they will buy German Denis outright once his loan deal comes to an end next June.
The Bergamo boys netted the striker from Udinese in the summer and he’s responded with 10 goals in 12 games to lead the scoring charts.
“We’ll take up our option to buy him outright,” Nerazzurri director Pierpaolo Marino noted on Monday afternoon.
“Nobody has asked us for him, not even Inter as is being reported.
“He’ll stay here as we have an agreement in place which we will certainly take up at the end of the present campaign.”
Powerful centre-forward Denis, 30, is an Argentine international with a peninsula past at Cesena and Napoli.
