Atalanta boss Stefano Colantuono inevitably has regrets over dropping two points to Napoli. “We were superior.”
The Orobici had been leading through German Denis when Edinson Cavani snatched a 94th-minute equaliser.
“It often happens to us that we concede late goals,” sighed the tactician after the 1-1 draw.
“We had a splendid performance and were superior to Napoli on the night. We had so many scoring opportunities, which is why the result is disappointing.
“There was no offside on Cavani’s goal, so we cannot complain. Napoli put a lot of balls into the box towards the end and we were unlucky, especially as Andrea Consigli never had a serious save to make.”
