Stefano Colantuono explains how Atalanta approached the Roma game. “We thought it best to attack them.”
The Orobici created plenty of chances at the Stadio Olimpico, but were beaten 3-1.
“We had prepared for the game in a certain way, thinking that waiting for Roma and going on the counter might've been a bit too risky,” said the Coach.
“So we thought it best to attack them, as we wanted to defuse them before they started and had managed it at times.
“I have nothing to say to my team in terms of effort, but we were unable to keep the ball. We compliment Roma. Our journey continues.”
