Guidolin: 'Emotional return to Parma'

Francesco Guidolin pays a visit to the club he walked out on in the summer. “It'll be very emotional returning to Parma.”

In the close season Parma and Udinese exchanged Coaches with Pasquale Marino moving to the Tardini and Guidolin going to the Friuli.

“I am not more tense than other games, but I am more excited. It'll be very emotional returning to Parma, where I experienced some wonderful moments,” said Guidolin.

“Having said that, it has to be a game like every other for the team, even if many of my lads know Marino's philosophy of football and my former players know mine.

“We have to do better on our travels, as we have what it takes to improve our away record. A victory must not let us relax, but rather fuel self-belief, confidence and enthusiasm for the next result.”

Alexis Sanchez is not 100 per cent fit and could be on the bench. “I will not take any risks with him.”
