Chievo are on the verge of snapping up Swiss midfielder Almen Abdi on loan from Udinese.

The 24-year-old impressed last season at the Stadio Friuli and has been valued at around €3m.

It's reported Chievo have a rough deal in place to take Abdi on loan with an option to buy at the end of the season.

Udinese still have to give the all-clear for the transfer, as they could wait until after the Champions League preliminary round.
