Inter legend Marco Materazzi mocked Milan after the Nerazzurri’s double victory at San Siro last night, joking that the Rossoneri no longer wanted to play a derby.
Inter not only won the sixth derby della Madonnina in a row on Monday but also secured their 20th Scudetto.
Italy and Inter legend Materazzi trolled the Nerazzurri city rivals on social media by sharing a picture of Milan title celebrations during an open-top bus parade in 2022.
On that occasion, Milan players put up a banner urging Inter to ‘shove the Coppa Italia up their a**’, so Materazzi changed the message, writing instead: ‘We no longer want to play a derby.’
Materazzi spent ten seasons at Inter, scoring 20 goals in 276 appearances and winning 15 titles, including a legendary treble under José Mourinho in 2010. The former defender is also a 2006 Italy World Cup winner.
