The 25-year-old is the star of the Montenegro national team, but his dubious conditions of form are making everyone at Inter wish that he'll be benched, especially in light of the upcoming match against Juventus.

Asked by La Gazzetta dello Sport whether he'll be playing, the Montenegrin himself could not provide an answer.

“I don't know,” he said. “How am I? Well, on the whole.

“I spoke with Mancini and our relationship is excellent. He told me: 'Stevan, you know your own body, see how you feel and then do what you believe is best'. We'll see.”

Montenegro's national Coach Branko Brnovic seems currently inclined against using him as a starter, but will field him if he can.

“It's not just me wishing he'll play, it's everyone,” he told la Gazza.

“We'll see. If there's a minimal possibility that he may play, then he will, because he's extremely keen.”
