“This experience could help us approach games in a different way. We’ve been in Serie A for three years and are still improving, but mustn’t try to go beyond our reach.

“Empoli changed many players and Coach, but not the basic structure of the squad. Their performances have been decent so far and they do not deserve to be so far down the table.

“It will also be more difficult for them without Riccardo Saponara, who is their top scorer and has great quality.

“Having said that, I need to focus above all on the attitude and performance of my own team.”
