It’s reportedly unlikely that Kevin Prince Boateng will re-join Milan despite beginning to train with the squad.

It was confirmed yesterday that the Ghana international would train with the Rossoneri until December 31 after falling out of favour at Schalke 04.

There were rumours that Milan could offer him a permanent deal in January, but Gazzetta dello Sport has reported that his permanent return is unlikely.

There were rumours that Milan could offer him a permanent deal in January, but Gazzetta dello Sport has reported that his permanent return is unlikely.

The paper writes that Sinisa Mihajlovic already has the optimum number of attacking players at his disposal and that Vice-President Adriano Galliani isn’t keen to meet his high salary demands.

Things have not gone well for Boateng of late, as he was suspended indefinitely by the Ghana national team in June and has been left out of the Schalke squad by new Coach Andre Breitenreiter.
