Jose Callejon said Napoli are eager to improve on last season by reaching the Europa League Final.

They visit Legia Warsaw on Thursday at 20.05 UK time (19.05 GMT) after thrashing Club Brugge 5-0.

“Last year we went so close to reaching the Europa League Final, which is why it means a lot to us to do even better this time round,” said Callejon in a Press conference.

“We put in a great performance against Club Brugge and hope to do well against Legia too. It’s easier for us to get fired up and focused against the big teams, so we have to improve in the so-called smaller fixtures.

“We studied Legia Warsaw, they are playing at home in front of their own fans and will therefore be highly motivated.

“It will be tough, but we want to win and we have to win.”

Callejon was asked about his rapport with new Coach Maurizio Sarri.

“I spoke clearly with him from the start. Sarri arrived and said he had faith in me, which is why I am still here. Players want to have the faith of the Coach and club.”
