Gigi Buffon said Juventus are under constant pressure to “prove” they are strong, hosting Sevilla in the Champions League.

“When you are fortunate enough to be in a team as strong as ours, there is only one problem: you have to prove it every time,” noted the captain in a Press conference.
“We must try to put in a fiery performance. It requires a balanced Juve with emotional intensity throughout the entire 90 minutes.”

The Bianconeri are having a dismal start to their Serie A season, yet won 2-1 away to Manchester City in Europe.

Sevilla famously won the Europa League at the Juventus Stadium, when the Turin giants faltered at the semi-final stage.
“If we didn’t play against Sevilla in the Final two years ago it’s because someone else, at the time, deserved it more than we did.”
Martin Caceres is out of the squad as punishment after he crashed his Ferrari in Turin last night, reportedly testing above the legal alcohol limit.
