Alvaro Morata has been forced to skip Juventus training after coming down with flu.

The Spanish international has not started either of the Bianconeri’s opening Serie A games, after suffering a thigh injury in pre-season.

The striker was fit enough to come off the bench during the defeat to Roma, but has missed part of training today with flu-like symptoms.

“Alvaro Morata did not take part in the full workout, due to mild flu symptoms,” Juventus announced in a statement on their official website.
