“It’s a balanced encounter and regardless of the results these are two works in progress,” Zac told Il Guerin Sportivo.
“In general I feel Inter have a little more quality than Milan and a more complete squad.

“In general I feel Inter have a little more quality than Milan and a more complete squad.
“If he can become consistent, then Stevan Jovetic can certainly become an important player for Inter. On the other hand, at Milan right now I can’t see a player who can tip the balance.”
The Rossoneri brought back Mario Balotelli on loan from Liverpool and he could make his debut this weekend.
“He didn’t cost the club anything, is young and has important qualities. Milan should give him a chance, then if he doesn’t deliver put him to one side,” continued Zaccheroni.
“I fully agree with this transfer and Adriano Galliani showed his experience. If it goes wrong, it cost them nothing, and if it works then Milan have hit the jackpot.
“It’s still too early to judge the two Coaches, so let’s let them work. For example, my teams always did better in the second half of the season.
“Looking at the squads, I’d say for the Scudetto it’s between Juventus, Roma, Inter and Napoli, then a step below Milan, Lazio and Fiorentina.
“If we look at what happened last season, the best Coach was Rolando Maran at Chievo. I’d also add Gian Piero Gasperini of Genoa and Lazio’s Stefano Pioli.”
Zaccheroni was asked what he will do now that he has left the job of Japan manager.
“I haven’t yet decided what to do when I grow up, but there is still the hunger. I don’t want to work just for the sake of it, so a proposal has to intrigue me.”
