Balotelli's international ambitions have never been a mystery and it's widely believed that he will be aiming for a spot at Euro 2016 next year.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Balotelli recently underwent physical tests at MilanLab to evaluate his physical form.

The tests revealed that the striker's individual training kept him at the same level of form he enjoyed when he left the team in summer of 2014.

While Balotelli may not be at peak condition yet, he is at the point where he should be able to comfortably start in a game, which he is likely to do in tonight's friendly between Milan and Mantova, played at 18:00 UK time.

The Gazzetta also reports that the player has surprised everyone with his humble new attitude in Milan, confirming previous statements by joint-CEO Adriano Galliani.
