Fiorentina could sell Jose Maria Basanta to Monterrey, renewing their interest in Milan’s Philippe Mexes.
Tuttomercatoweb reports that Basanta has a deal in place with Mexican side Monterrey and is ready to fly out tomorrow.
It would be a return for the 31-year-old, who had already played for Monterrey from 2008 to 2014.
If the Argentine does move on, then Fiorentina are targeting Milan veteran Mexes as his replacement.
