It was reported yesterday that the patron was furious with the weekend defeat to Fiorentina, despite significant investment in the playing squad, and would not sanction a Soriano deal.

Today, the Gazzetta dello Sport reports that not only will the Sampdoria midfielder not arrive, Berlusconi has blocked any further significant investment.
