Hoffenheim confirm they have agreed terms with Napoli and Chile international Eduardo Vargas.
The forward underwent a medical this weekend and is set to complete the transfer.
It is believed Napoli will receive €5m plus a percentage of any future sale.
“We have reached an agreement between the clubs and with the player,” Hoffenheim director of sport Alexander Rosen told France Football.
Vargas was signed for €13.5m from Universidad de Chile in January 2012, but barely featured for the Partenopei.

He was sent out on loan spells to Gremio, Valencia and QPR.
The 25-year-old was instrumental in Chile’s Copa America triumph this summer.
At international level he has scored 22 goals in 48 caps for Chile.
