Sampdoria and Milan failed to reach an agreement on Roberto Soriano, but talks will continue next week.

This morning CEO Adriano Galliani met with President Massimo Ferrero and director of sport Carlo Osti for negotiations and lunch in Forte dei Marmi.

“We are far from reaching a deal,” confirmed Galliani to Sky Sport Italia.

Reports suggest Sampdoria want €15m, whereas Milan are offering €10m plus bonuses and Antonio Nocerino.

The gap is only €2m, which can comfortably be whittled down with further negotiations.

Another meeting is planned for next week and the Rossoneri are not giving up on the Munich-born creative midfielder.
