The goalkeeper sat down with Spanish newspaper Marca to discuss his second spell at the Stadio San Paolo.
“Juventus are the favourites to win the Scudetto. They have to defend their four years at the top. They’re a little above the others and it’ll be a disaster for them if they don’t win.

“Juventus are the favourites to win the Scudetto. They have to defend their four years at the top. They’re a little above the others and it’ll be a disaster for them if they don’t win.
“I hope Gonzalo Higuain will be Capocannoniere. There are other great forwards like Carlos Bacca and Mario Mandzukic, but Roma are lacking a clear hitman.”
The Partenopei are now under Coach Maurizio Sarri after Rafa Benitez took over at Real Madrid.
“Napoli want to get back into the Champions League. I want to help the team lower the number of goals it conceded last season.
“This is a big club in a great city that breathes football. Our new tactician, Sarri, is a maestro of football. Italian football is above all tactical, but without foregoing technical players. The tempo is a little slower than the other Leagues, but not by much.
“Who is the best goalkeeper in Italy? Gigi Buffon, clearly. He continues to play at the highest level.”
