After Genoa, now Fiorentina are also targeting Roma flop Juan Manuel Iturbe for a loan move.

The Giallorossi paid Verona €20m for him only a year ago, but the arrival of Edin Dzeko, Mohamed Salah and Iago Falque has further reduced his chances of regular playing time.

Genoa had confirmed they were in talks to bring Iturbe in on loan, but he seems unconvinced by this move.

Sky Sport Italia suggest Fiorentina have also now approached him for a loan with option to buy at the end of the season.

Roma are likely to push for the Viola, therefore getting back in their good books after the row over Salah.

The Egyptian was meant to extend his stay in Florence for another year, but refused to respect the option activated by Fiorentina in January’s contract with Chelsea.

In turn, Iturbe is unhappy with the idea of a loan and would prefer a permanent transfer.
