The news site reports of new contacts that took place between il Diavolo and Zenit, and suggests that an offer of €25m with bonuses may be sufficient to reach a deal.

The outlet further suggests that joint-CEO Adriano Galliani may be plotting a last-minute deal for Witsel, with the intention of closing in the last days of August.
