Following their bankruptcy this year and their demotion to Serie D, the club that was once part of Serie A's powerful Seven Sisters is stocking up on players for a fast return.

Sky Sports Italia interviewed their two new strikers Riccardo Musetti and Daniele Melandri.

“It's my first season in Serie D,” said Musetti, who comes from Lega Pro's Cremonese. “But I didn't think twice.

“I didn't want to be demoted by a category but I think I made the right choice.

“We have some ambitious objectives. There's a drive to return to the higher echelons of football.

“It's strange to see Parma in Serie D, this club is used to playing on an important stage.”

Melandri joined the club from Serie D side Forli, and he echoed his new teammate's sentiments.

“I am joining a club of huge importance,” he said. “I did not hesitate in accepting their offer.

“There are some very strong players, and the club will buy others of a superior category.

“The obligation to win must not weigh us down. Personally I've never played in front of so many people!”
