Fenerbahce technical director Giuliano Terraneo denied they are interested in Inter defender Juan Jesus.
The Turkish club had been linked with a potential swoop for the Brazilian centre-back.
However, Fenerbahce reached angrily, threatening legal action against several local newspapers.
“At the next lie we will have to take the newspaper to court,” declared Terraneo.
“Every name linked with Fenerbahce has to be justified to our shareholders, as the club is floated on the stock exchange.”
