After Mario Suarez, Fiorentina have officially signed Gilberto from Botafogo.
The Viola announced the transfer this evening for the 22-year-old right-back.
He grew up in the Botafogo academy, save for a year-long loan at Internacional.
Gilberto played for Brazil at Under-20 and Under-23 level.
The deal is believed to be worth in the region of €1m.
