Geoffrey Kondogbia and Martin Montoya made their Inter debuts in a 4-3 victory over Stuttgart Kickers.

The first 45 minutes were absolutely dominated by Roberto Mancini’s men, who were 4-0 up at the break.

Rodrigo Palacio opened the scoring within three minutes, bursting through the centre to drill past the goalkeeper, then doubled his tally by running on to a Mauro Icardi assist.

Marcelo Brozovic netted the third, turning in the rebound from a scuffed Hernanes volley, while Icardi hit the bar before getting his name on the scoresheet too.

The second half saw numerous changes and the debut of summer signing Kondogbia.

Stuttgart Kickers gained confidence and mounted a surprising comeback with two Marco Andreolli errors.
