Wolfsburg have told Inter to forget about €20m-rated Ivan Perisic. “We have no intention of selling.”

It’s reported the Nerazzurri have offered €2m for the one-year loan plus a further €18m at the end of the season to make the move permanent.

“I know that Inter have set their sights on Perisic and they are not the only club to be tracking him,” Wolfsburg director of sport Klaus Allofs told Kicker in Germany.

“I know that Inter have set their sights on Perisic and they are not the only club to be tracking him,” Wolfsburg director of sport Klaus Allofs told Kicker in Germany.

“We have no intention of selling. Besides, I don’t think this move would be economically convenient for the Nerazzurri.”

The 26-year-old is under contract until June 2017 and had also been in negotiations with Napoli in January.

He joined Wolfsburg from Borussia Dortmund for €8m in January 2013.

“The problem isn’t the agreement between us and Inter, but between Wolfsburg and Inter,” agent Tonci Martic told FCInterNews on Friday.

“The Nerazzurri would be a welcome destination, but much will depend on the price the German club put on Ivan.

“I repeat: the real obstacle is the agreement between the clubs.

“Inter and Wolfsburg will have to work, the player is waiting, and as I said, he’s waiting on holiday.”
