Napoli and Inter could reportedly consider exchanging Fredy Guarin and Dries Mertens in order to satisfy both parties. 

The Nerazzurri are believed to be interested in Belgium international Mertens and Corriere dello Sport reported today that Guarin is a target for the Partenopei.

The newspaper believes that Napoli have already rejected an offer of €6m plus Andrea Ranocchia for the winger, but could be tempted by a swap.

It’s reported that Maurizio Sarri would look to deploy Guarin behind the strikers, allowing Marek Hamsik to play in a deeper role.

A swap deal has now been touted as a way of potentially satisfying both parties and Inter defender Juan Jesus could also enter negotiations as the Vesuviani are believed to be interested in the Brazilian.
