Sampdoria have officially bought Lucas Torreira from Pescara, but will leave him in Serie B on loan.
The 19-year-old Uruguayan midfielder only arrived at the Stadio Adriatico in January 2014 from Montevideo Wanderers.
This evening Pescara announced via their official website that Torreira had been sold to Sampdoria.
He will remain with the Delfini on loan for the 2015-16 campaign in order to gain experience.
