Napoli have raised their offer for Torino full-back Matteo Darmian to €10m plus Jorginho and Duvan Zapata.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Darmian is considered the ideal addition to Maurizio Sarri’s new-look squad, which will be based around Azzurri talent.

It’s reported that the initial proposal was rejected, so the Partenopei pledged €10m clash plus full ownership of midfielder Jorginho and striker Zapata.

Omar El Kaddouri could also be involved in some capacity, as he joined Torino on loan and is uncertain about where he will be playing next season.

However, Toro are adamant they won’t release Darmian, who is also an Inter target, for less than €20m.

Napoli are therefore trying to make up the gap with player exchanges.
