Milan consultant Victor Pablo Dana caused a Twitterstorm by calling Inter supporters “rats.”

The Italian financier based in Dubai helped broker Bee Taechaubol buying 48 per cent of the club from President Silvio Berlusconi.

Dana is active on Twitter, perhaps a little too active, as today his comments caused offence.

He replied to a tweet noting the city of Milan has been inundated with around five million rats and mice: “They must be Inter fans.”

Dana is active on Twitter, perhaps a little too active, as today his comments caused offence.

He replied to a tweet noting the city of Milan has been inundated with around five million rats and mice: “They must be Inter fans.”

He deleted it after receiving numerous complaints, but would not apologise.

“I removed the tweet, but after 610 insulting tweets from Inter fans, I think the time has come to stop it and let people get to work.

“Milan should be respected! From the start you Interisti have hidden behind false accounts to hurt us. He who laughs last, laughs best.”

Dana also irritated Rossoneri supporters earlier this weekend after losing both targets Jackson Martinez and Geoffrey Kondogbia.

“Patience is bitter, but the rewards are sweet.”
