Fiorentina midfielder David Pizarro admits he “will decide after the Copa America” whether to join Santiago Wanderers.

The Chile international will turn 36 in September and his contract is due to expire at the end of this month.

“Will I return to Santiago Wanderers? Everything is possible,” Pizarro told Chilevision.

“I wil only make a decision after the Copa America has ended.”

Pizarro has been with the Viola since 2012, having previous played for the likes of Udinese, Inter, Roma and Manchester City.

He grew up in the Wanderers youth academy, leaving to make his fortune at Udinese in 1999.

This season he managed only 26 Serie A appearances, but also 10 in the Europa League and one for the Coppa Italia.
