Empoli confirmed Mirko Valdifiori will undergo his Napoli medical on Saturday. “He deserved this chance.”
The midfielder will be reunited with Coach Maurizio Sarri at the Stadio San Paolo after agreeing a €5.5m deal.
“As far as we are concerned, Valdifiori’s transfer to Napoli is concluded,” Empoli director of sport Marcello Carli told Tuttomercatoweb.
“We thank the lad for these years together and wish him all the best. He deserves this chance and I personally hope he has a great season.
