It has been reported that the Montenegrin forward has agreed terms on a move to the Nerazzurri, though City have not yet sanctioned the move.

Tuttosport believes that the deal is being held up by Beneamata Coach Roberto Mancini, who would prefer the club to sign a winger.

Tuttosport believes that the deal is being held up by Beneamata Coach Roberto Mancini, who would prefer the club to sign a winger.

However, the newspaper is not ruling out a move, believing that Inter could look to strike a similar deal to the one which brought Xherdan Shaqiri to San Siro.

That would involve bringing the player in on an initial loan, probably of around €1m or €2m, before signing him permanently in the summer of 2016.

At that point, the player would have just two years left on his contract, meaning that he would be unlikely to command a fee above €13m.
