Cesena have officially appointed Massimo Drago as their Coach for next season.
The 44-year-old will take the role most recently occupied by Domenico Di Carlo, who left following the club’s relegation to Serie B.
Former defender Drago had been in charge of Serie B side Crotone since 2012 and led them to a 17th-place finish.
“A.C. Cesena announces that Mr. Massimo Drago will be Coach of the first team for the 2015/2016 season,” an official club statement announced on Monday.

“His staff will be composed of assistant Coach Mauro Galluzzo, fitness trainer Andrea Nocera and technical collaborator Fabio Errigo.
“Francesco Antonioli will continue his relationship with the club as goalkeeper coach.
“The new Coach will be presented Thursday at 12:00 in the press room of the Dino Manuzzi Stadium.”
