It’s reported Sinisa Mihajlovic has already signed a two-year contract with Milan, but Pippo Inzaghi remains Coach.

The Rossoneri have made it perfectly clear for several weeks that they have no intention of keeping Inzaghi on the bench for next season, although he has a contract until June 2016.

There have been a series of meetings with ex-Sampdoria boss Mihajlovic, who even had a lengthy dinner at President Silvio Berlusconi’s villa with CEO Adriano Galliani.

There have been a series of meetings with ex-Sampdoria boss Mihajlovic, who even had a lengthy dinner at President Silvio Berlusconi’s villa with CEO Adriano Galliani.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Mihajlovic has already put pen to paper on a two-year contract, having agreed personal terms.

The club cannot register it yet, as Inzaghi remains under contract too.

Milan want to avoid sacking Super Pippo, as that would mean having to continue paying his wages for potentially a whole year.

This is the situation they were stuck with last season when firing Clarence Seedorf.

Instead, Galliani will try to talk Inzaghi into accepting a termination by mutual consent.

Until that situation is resolved, the Rossoneri cannot officially appoint Mihajlovic.
