Palermo Coach Beppe Iachini hopes for a win on his last home game, and discusses Paulo Dybala's development.

This will almost certainly be the last chance for the Rosanero supporters to see the Argentine striker playing in their turf, as he has already been promised to Juventus, but Iachini warned the team they'll be playing today won't allow for a catwalk.

“We'll play against a team of great quality, that disputed the Europa League semifinals and is always in the higher parts of the standings,” he said.

“[Vincenzo] Montella is a Coach of great value, but we'll try to bid our farewells to the supporters with a great performance and a nice victory, so we can honour our season.

“We aim to pick up a result on the field, without underestimating anyone.”

Dybala has seen his playing time limited since his departure became a certainty, but the 51-year-old tactician could make use of him against Fiorentina.

“Yes, Dybala could play. He developed substantially in this year and seven months, as did the whole team.

“We shared a good journey, with a promotion [into Serie A] and playing some good football, which allowed us to beat several records.

“This year in Serie A he picked up conviction and charisma and turned into the player he is now.

“Playing as a striker allowed him to express himself at the highest levels, and he boomed.

“He's a player worthy of Juventus, it's just a shame he didn't score a few more goals. He could have had a significantly greater booty had it not been for all those posts he hit and all those missed opportunities.

“As for [Andrea] Belotti, I'm considering whether to field him, but first I must understand how Fiorentina are going to play.

“Their playing style is very similar to ours. They played like we did and they even made progress in Europe.

“But I think it's a matter of mentality, not formations. Playing some proactive football can bring the supporters back by our side.

“I hope that in the end it works out to be a good match.”
