There is a new development in the scandal, as Brindisi director Vito Morisco confessed match-fixing a game with Pomigliano.

Today Brindisi technical director Morisco made the confession in an interview with investigators in Bari, having been arrested two days ago.

He said that one of the Pomigliano players proposed the deal, which then went through transfer consultant Savino Daleno.

Brindisi paid €12,000 to ensure a 4-0 result away to Pomigliano, a club in the Naples area, on December 14 2014.
