Milan are reportedly considering extending their loan of Roma striker Mattia Destro into next season.

The Italian international joined the Rossoneri in January and despite making a limited impact with only three goals, he could still be at San Siro next season.

According to Peppe Di Stefano, Milan will not consider offering €16 million to buy the player outright but will consider a second loan move.

Roma could allow the player to go on loan for another season as they are unlikely to find a buyer willing to meet their asking price and Destro has expressed his intention to remain at San Siro.

The forward has scored 29 goals in 68 appearances for the Giallorossi, but has been deemed surplus to requirements by Rudi Garcia this season.
