Roma director Walter Sabatini said the performance against Milan was “disturbing” and threatened a training retreat.
The Giallorossi risk losing second place and seeing Napoli close to within two points after their shock 2-1 defeat.
“We’ll talk to the Coach tonight or tomorrow morning and see what we can do to give a contribution to this team,” Sabatini told Sky Sport Italia.

The Giallorossi risk losing second place and seeing Napoli close to within two points after their shock 2-1 defeat.
“We’ll talk to the Coach tonight or tomorrow morning and see what we can do to give a contribution to this team,” Sabatini told Sky Sport Italia.
“We are challenging for a crucial target and this is not the right way to go about reaching it.
“A training retreat? It’s a possibility. We’ll discuss it with the Coach.”
Roma had won their previous two in a row, but seem psychologically fragile when they get into a position of power.
“Miralem Pjanic has precarious fitness levels, so he has a reason, but everyone has to share the responsibility for this.
“The Champions League is a result we absolutely must achieve, regardless of this result. For the first few weeks of the season they were excellent with a great mentality and hunger.
“Then we slipped way back and I have to say tonight’s performance was disturbing.”
Milan paid €700,000 to take Mattia Destro on loan in January and he scored a goal that could cost Roma €50m in Champions League revenue.
“I have to consider everything as a director of sport. I had thought about him scoring a goal against us – it was actually predictable!” Sabatini laughed bitterly.
