Thursday represents a sea change for Milan, as Pippo Inzaghi is likely to be sacked and Bee Taechaubol could buy the club.

The Rossoneri were beaten 3-1 at home by Genoa on Wednesday night and even Coach Inzaghi confessed his time was probably up.

“I will not resign because that is the cowardly thing to do,” he declared in a Press conference.

“Instead I come out here to talk and face up to my responsibility. The team follows me and is giving its all, but at the moment that really isn’t enough.”

Milan sources said they will take the night to reflect on the situation, but a dismissal is expected on Thursday morning with current Primavera youth team boss Cristian Brocchi promoted.

This is also going to be a decisive day for the future of the club, as on Wednesday evening Thai investor ‘Mr Bee’ Taechaubol visited President Silvio Berlusconi at his Arcore home.

CEO Barbara Berlusconi was also present during the extensive negotiations, which lasted over three hours.

Taechaubol was spotted leaving the property at around 23.00 UK time (22.00 GMT), though his financial advisors and accountants remained at Arcore to go over the details.

It’s widely reported that Taechaubol and Milan will release a joint statement on Thursday.

A deal to sell the majority share of the club is at a very advanced stage and the rumours emerging after the meeting are positive about the outcome.

Among those attending the meeting were Pablo Victor Dana, a financial advisor based in Abu Dhabi, and James Davies-Tandle, co-founder of Global Legends Series.
