Andre Ayew is torn between Roma, Newcastle United and Tottenham, but also between two agents who both claim they represent him.

The Olympique Marseille striker will be a free agent when his contract expires in June.

Napoli had been interested in a January swoop, but the favourites now appear to be Roma, Newcastle and Spurs.

The Giallorossi are believed to have offered a three-year contract worth €3m per season.

The problem is that there are two different agents who insist they have the rights to negotiate on his behalf.

Tuttosport point out that Ayew’s father, ex-Torino player Abedi Pele, visited Roma with agents Gianluca Di Carlo and Yvan Le Mee last month.

“We have the exclusive mandate to negotiate with Roma, signed by the player. We have already spoken to the Giallorossi and brought Abedi Pele to meet the club,” Di Carlo told Tuttomercatoweb.

“Our mandate was signed some time ago, so we are surprised to read of colleagues coming to Italy with Abedi Pele. I specifically asked Roma and they confirmed ours is the exclusive mandate for Roma talks.”

At the same time, Vincenzo Morabito claims he has “a direct rapport with Abedi. We’ll meet in Paris next week to decide.

“I have the mandate for both Andre and his brother Jordan, who plays for Lorient. Roma? There’s an English club that would sign both of them.”
