There are reports Inter could sell Xherdan Shaqiri just six months after signing from Bayern Munich.

The Swiss international had a strong start when arriving during the January transfer window, but has since struggled for playing time.

He was dropped for the last two games in a row and is also expected to be benched for Saturday’s Serie A clash with Roma.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Inter are considering an early exit for the young wide attacker so they can reinvest elsewhere.

Shaqiri arrived on loan from Bayern Munich with mandatory buy-out clause set at €16m.

It looks increasingly unlikely that Inter will qualify for Europe next season, so Shaqiri could well push for a way out too.

Fellow January signing Lukas Podolski has fallen far down the pecking order under Roberto Mancini and it’s guaranteed he will be sent back to Arsenal when his loan expires in June.
