“Millions of fans from all four corners of the globe will enjoy one of the most exciting games in world football: the derby.

“It's my fourth derby as Inter President. The first time I saw Inter v AC Milan at the San Siro, it took my breath away.

“For a moment tonight, before the referee blows for the start of the match, listen to the wall of noise inside our stadium. I know it will be deafening.

“I know that being an Inter fan matters more tonight than on any other night. I'm sure of it because the same goes for me. I want to see this stadium in all its glory.”
