Mancio has previously told sporting director Piero Ausilio to stump up the cash for 31-year-old, and the Daily Mirror claims that the Nerazzurri are ready to do just that.

The newspaper speculates that the Beneamata would offer a five-year contract worth a total of €74m, woking out at around €13m per season.

That would make Toure comfortably the highest-paid player in Serie A, but it’s unclear how Inter would square that with their Financial Fair Play obligations.

Speculation this morning suggested that Mancio would be willing to lose Mateo Kovacic and Samir Handanovic to secure Toure.
